About Me.
My name is Mitchell Foster, but I go by Mitch. I have a Game Studies & Design degree from Old Dominion University. I am most interested in Combat, Encounter, or Level Design for video games. I have a lot of experience in game design toolkits such as Unity, Unreal, Maya, and Abobe. Most of the information on this website is about my experiences in college with game design and personal projects. Check out my other page to see what I have achieved with my knowledge of video game development.

Game Studies & Design (B.S.)
This degree teaches and enhances game writing and design. I am taking the Design & Criticism concentration with this degree. The courses I've taken at ODU that teach game design and criticism are Intro to Game Design, Game Mechanics, World Building, Game Criticism, and a Game Workshop. An internship is also required within the degree program, and I took that internship with ODU directly with their latest Monarch Odyessy project. The extracurricular courses I took entail C++ programming and computer art design. Experience with in-class game design presentations has helped me communicate my design process with examples in programming. These courses helped me become a better designer, communicator, and programmer.
